Driver issue on my WiFi USB Edimax

I am having an issue installing the driver for my Wifi USB Edimax series FEW 7318ug. I am using Slackware Linux and have been trying to install the driver of my WiFi USB. I always get an error saying “improper module format”. The driver contains support for open source but I cannot get it done correctly. Is someone having knowledge about this that can help me?

Driver issue on my WiFi USB Edimax

Your Edimax FEW-7318ug Wi-Fi USB Driver suppors Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, it also supports Linux and MAX. You be able to install the driver since it supports multi-operating systems. You should download separate driver support for Linux, here Is the link open source.

This driver should let you use your Wi-Fi USB, when installing just follow the on screen prompts that you will receive. If this solution still doesn’t work. You should call the manufacturer or Customer Support regarding your concern to assist you on how to install the driver for you Edimax FEW series Wi-Fi USB.
