Is the Dragon ID the New Anti-theft App For Mobile Phones?

Nuance has partake in the app world of mobile phones. It's a new speech recognition leap would be the Dragon ID. It allows you to open or unlock your Smartphone thru voice recognition.

Will this be considered as an anti-theft app for mobile phones?

Also, does it only recognize the English language?

I don't think it is a good idea to setup your phone with that app for many reasons and the reasons would maybe conflict you in the near future; for me it is still good using a password to unlock your phone is much better than that.

Fortunately, the Dragon ID is not solely developed to cater to English Language but also accommodations were made for other languages too.

As to it being an answer to deter theft, well, it is premature to conclude as of this time. No detailed info suggests how this voice recognition can detect mimicry or whether there is an established procedure on how the program can utilize voice timbre, or intonations to practically determine the voice of the owner.

Insufficient information on the developers' website cannot substantiate an increase in security.
