Download all the captions from YouTube channel.
I have a channel with 400+ videos and most of them have captions created. I wanted to know of a way to download the caption text all in one shot into some files. So we can have a copy as a safety measure

You can't possibly download the captions of all 400+ videos in your channel in one go.
You will have to download the caption video by video,one at a time.
You can use online websites or software for the purpose.

You can easily download YouTube captions and subtitles provided your videos have an Interactive Transcript button and you have a ready software or program which could be found available online. Just follow these steps:
1. Go to your video page on YouTube.
2. Copy the URL of the video and paste it in the input box of your program.
3. Extract the subtitles or captions.
