Hi experts,

Downgrade IE11 to IE10 or lower?

I have Windows 8.1 and i have issues with IE11 and rather then fixing that issue for now. Is there a easier way to uninstall and have IE10?

Downgrade IE11 to IE10 or lower?

Hello Blair,

Downgrading is not a good option. But as it is not working on your Windows 8.1, you are willing to downgrade to IE 10.

You have to download the setup file of IE 10. Download IE 10 from here. Run the setup.

While the process runs, it will show message regarding the newer version. Select to remove the newer one and install the older one.

Then, the setup will continue and you will have IE 10 instead of IE 11.

Hi.

Unfortunately on Microsoft Windows 8.1 it is impossible to downgrade Internet Explorer. Internet explorer comes as part of Microsoft Windows and to downgrade it would require to remove it from installation. To use Internet Explorer 10 in Windows 8.1 you have to disable Internet Explorer 11 in Control panel and manually install Internet Explorer 10.
