Hello,

I have a 16 GB Transcend pen drive. When I copy some data into my pen drive from my campus, the computer of my campus always detects a virus named comres.dll with USB Disk Security and Kaspersky Antivirus. But I am using Avast Free Antivirus which had never complained to me about the virus!!!

Avast Antivirus software really works to detect virus?

First of all comres.dll is not a virus, this process is considered safe. It is unlikely to pose any harm to your system.  comres.dll is also important because it is required for Windows to work properly.

About Avast Free Antivirus, it works fine based on my experience. Sometimes it also fails to detect virus, when the Antivirus is outdated or when the virus itself upgrades itself and the Antivirus did not. 🙂

You can also try some Antivirus, like Avira Antivirus or Eset Nod32.  Also try the full version because it works just fine and they have awesome performance.

Dear User,

Not only Avast, all free Antivirus will not work properly. Please buy a registered Antivirus and work smoothly.

Please note, there is no Antivirus, which will give you 100% virus detection assurance. But if you have a registered Antivirus and it is updated properly then the software must detect viruses. If the virus is new they cannot clean or delete the virus but if you complain to the Antivirus company with the new virus file, then they can give you an updated file within a short time to clean the new virus.

Also you can take support from online chatting with the Antivirus company expertise.  If you want then the expertise can remotely login to your computer and fix the problem at the same time.

So, buy a registered Antivirus and keep your computer virus free.

Cheers
