Hi, I am Manish and got stuck somewhere while doing my project. Please let me know something about GMT and the timing differences between IST and GMT.
GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time in which the mean solar time at the royal observatory in Greenwich London. It is blatant on the zero-degree line of the longitude of the Earth (meridian). This line moves from the North Pole to the South Pole. GMT is a global time standard.
The IST is 5:30 hours ahead of GMT.
• If it’s IST 4:00 PM of 12th June 2020, then GMT will be 10:30 AM on 12th June 2020.
