Do I need Micromax mobile site for upgrade?

I have a Micromax A116 Canvas HD with MTK MT6589 chipset, Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Android OS Version 4.1.  I'd like to upgrade my phone to Version 4.2.  Do I have to go to the Micromax mobile site for the upgrade?

As per the Micromax Canvas HD specification goes, Its Android Jelly bean  4.1.2, Version, Which has to be latest, You can check the Market place or Micromax's website for further details, Now this phone is runs on Android's latest version,  And not all the Micromax phone upgradable, So you need to aware for any information,

The Android platform is the best platform now, and Android makes smartphones so much easier and more flexible for our life. You can update your Micromax both on- and offline. You can go to the Micromax site and update your version, or you can go to the mobile phone software option and use that to upgrade your version. It takes you to their version upgrade page, then you can download and install the upgraded version.

Now, enjoy yourself with your latest Android version.
