The Active Directory Domain Services is not responding, and I am receiving an error message from it the DNS server is waiting for Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS). How can I resolve this issue?

Run troubleshoot to detect and resolve the issue and restart the DNS server if required by following these steps:

• Click on Start button and open Administrative Tools (in Control Panel)

• Click on the Server Manager.

• On the left pane expand Roles, and the DNS Server.

• On the DNS server, right-click and select restart.
