Hi guys,

Does DLT Tape Labels print your own specifications or are there any standard details that are required to be put on the labels to ensure that their description is known by other barcode readers?

Hi,

Tape four Backup offers custom barcode labels for DLT tape cartridges. These would be most helpful for tape libraries and system integration.

All orders for barcode labels should be in reference to orders for tape or knowledge cartridges that were described on QR.

Tape four Backup offers custom barcode labels for DLT-III, DLT-III XT, DLT-IV and DLT-VS1.

I hope this help you.

Hello,

A DLT, or Digital Linear Tape, formerly called CompacTape, is a magnetic tape data storage technology urbanized by Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) from after 1984. In 1994, the technology was purchased by Quantum Corporation, who manufacture, drive, and license the information and name. An alternative with superior competence is called Super DLT (SDLT).

The minor charge "value line" was originally contrived by Benchmark Storage Innovations below a license from Quantum. Quantum acquired Benchmark in 2002. All information for barcode labels is supposed to be in a location with instructions for string or information cartridges that were described on QR.
