Disconnecting Problem of Broadband Connection Often

I got a small problem here.  I am using a Vodafone broadband connection, and it gets disconnected after every 30 or 40 minutes, frequently. Error log is showing an error, "error 651-the modem or the connecting device is used by another program" Some thing like that. I checked all the connections, but didn't work.

Disconnecting Problem of Broadband Connection Often

There are a lot of errors 651 on modem. Try going to your Device Manager and click on View, Show hidden devices, then in the network adapters drop down you will see a bunch of miniport/s. There is a way of using SSTP VPN, removing and re-adding SSTP miniport/s that’s giving you this issue. And try checking if a user installed Connectify to create an ad hoc wireless network with their laptop which created a whole bunch of WAN miniport/s if you see this program try removing it. Not sure if it will work but if its something that you have not tried yet you can check it.
