Hi, I was using MS-Excel when it crashed and displayed Dw20.exe application error. I don’t have the slightest of hint about it and need help. What is the method to disable it?
Dw20.exe file collects information and assists users to send the report to Microsoft. It is not that essential tool and only used as a Reporting tool. You can disable this tool from Control Panel and Windows Registry. Type Regedit in the box provided by Run and find a Common file under Office folder. Go to Edit menu, choose New and click DWORD Value. Type DWNeverUpload and type 1 on Value Data box then click OK. Exit the Registry Editor. Start the system again.
