I’ve been troubled by WER as it overrides the debuggers on my PC, gets the error before debuggers could act upon, making my life difficult to code in Windows 10. Please let me know how should I disable this WER Windows Error reporting mechanism?

Hey there, I am sorry for the trouble you have been going through. Here is the solution to your problem.

1. Type run in the start menu and press the Enter key. Another way to open ‘Run’ dialog box is by pressing ‘Windows key + R’.

2. Type ‘services.msc’ without quotes, and press Enter. A ‘Services’ box will pop up.

3. Locate Windows Error Reporting service. Double click on it.

4. Next to ‘Startup type’, drop down and select ‘Disabled’

5. Select ‘OK’ and apply to save the changes.

6. Close the dialog box and you’re done.

Cheers!
