What is the alternative Delphi MySQL like filter which can kick off the spam replies? My forum site is powered by Phbb format.

Hi,

The following are the alternatives which can prevent spam replies in your forum:

1. You can use captcha software. In this tool, users who want to post comments have to type the code and then post replies. This prevents automatically generated spam.

2. You could also use e-mail verification. Before users post replies on your forum you could ask them to register using their e-mail as the username. You could then send the password to their e-mail so that they do not give wrong e-mail ID's. This system is widely used and is very effective.

3. You could also put a limit to the number of url's a user can post on your forum. This could lower the number of spam url's.
