Decreased price of Apple’s iPad

I heard about Apple slashed down its 1st & 2nd gen iPad's prices. Is it going to be refurbished? If not, will they keep its warranty and other facilities? And what is the lowest price of an iPad in this regard?

Hi Bob,

Well there have been rumors in the market about the decreased prices of Apple iPad 1 and iPad 2. That is quite true. Now iPad 2 is available at decreased and discounted prices. But this doesn't mean that with the decrease in their prices Apple will not offer warranty and stuff.

They will continue to keep its warranty. Rumors say that the lowest price of an iPad will go down to 200$. But still this isn't confirmed yet. You need to check it from any Apple store.

Dear User,

Yes they are many who says that Apple will decrease their prices with iPad 3 Launch. Thing is the first generation iPad got a $100 price cut until ran out when the iPad 2 was introduced.

But those days they did not have any competitors, but however there will be a price drop with this new iPad 3. And the lowest price would be around or below $299. A lot to be expect.

Yes, Apple is currently selling refurbished iPads at a limited time. However refurbished Apple is keeping the 1-year warranty and they assure that these devices are tested. Lowest price available for an iPad 2 is $399. As per their website, it’s $120 savings for buyers.
