Database Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close

Hello to all,

I have an application issue on QuickBooks, I encountered this problem while I am using QuickBooks for my accounting works, in the middle of my work an error message (I pasted below), appeared on my screen and QuickBooks exits.

QuickBooks Database Manager

QuickBooks Database Manager has encountered a

problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the

inconvenience.

My first approach with this error is to restart my computer to get a fresh start, when I am back with my work, all of a sudden the same error message appeared, I scanned my computer for some virus, but none was found, please share some comment on this issue, and help me solve this problem, thanks a lot in reading my post.

Hi Martyables,

I got the same problem from my friends and I gave him a solution that helped him very much. You can follow the solution on the below-

• First you have to make sure that you have the full Quick book program installed and try to open the files on the server.
• Then you have to go to the File option and click on the utilities.
• Click on the stop Hosting Multi- user Access.
• If you would able to see that Host-multi user Access instead then you have to click on it to change it.
• You have to make sure that they say Host- Multi user Access of all other systems of Quick book.
• Then Restart your computer and try to access into the QuickBooks Database Manager.

Database Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close

This error happens if your QuickBooks installation has damaged.

Follow these steps to repair:

1. Click the windows start button and select settings/control panel.

2. Double click add or remove button.

3. Click next in the QuickBooks installation window.

4. Select repair in the QuickBooks window, choose next > repair.

5. Click finish on this window.

6. Restart QuickBooks. If the error still persists reinstall this application.

7. You can also try to hold Ctrl button and then open QuickBooks application this will also help you to repair the error.

8. Continue to press Ctrl until you receive the error and the program launches.
