I got the error below when trying to launch AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 in my Windows 7 x64 computer.

AutoCAD Message

Customization file load failed. File not found: acad

And when I clicked on the OK button, the next window is empty. I don’t know what causes this error, but I am hoping that someone here can help.

Thank you in advance.

Dear Kevin,

According to the error message u got "Customization file load failed. File not found: acad", this error is caused because autocad needs to be installed with an administrator account. Try to create a new local administrator on your machine and reinstall autocad again. If u were requested to migrate the custom settings from your previous autocad installation version, make sure to click "Cancel" in order not to get the customization file not found error again. Also, make sure that other users of the autocad program have the right enough permissions that allow them to be able to run the program.

Hope this may help you.

Best of luck
