Hello,
Cubase is a digital audio workstation with latest audio control feature. But when trying to open files I get the message shown in the attached image below. Any ideas?

Disable incompatible plug-ins if possible.
If you are trying to load a file on Cubase 6 originally created in older version of Cubase, try downgrading your present version or simply uninstall Cubase 6 and then install the older version you used in creating the file. If the file you are trying to open is the modification of an original file, load that original file instead of the modified version.
It seems the file you are opening has a configuration that doesn’t match linked plug-ins. The file may be created using a different version of Cubase with different sets of plug-ins which is totally different from the one you are using right now. You can fix this by checking the configuration of the file to see if its settings are linked to non-existent plug-ins in Cubase 6.
Configure the file and match its settings with the available plug-ins in Cubase 6. Disable some plug-ins in the settings if they are not available in the program. It is also possible that the missing plug-ins are available in Cubase 7. You can download it for free as a trial version and will give you 30 days to use it. It is available in Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X versions. For Windows, it only supports Windows 7 and Windows 8. For Mac OS X, it works with Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.8.
