CrossOver trial version fails to initialize

Hi,

I am getting this error message every time when try to open CrossOver v12. 1.2 trial version for Mac. What does it mean? How can I avoid this annoying error message? Can you help me to fix this error? Any help would be appreciated.

Initialization Failre

CrossOver is unable to initialize a critical component.

Failed to run Python script ‘/Applications/CrossOver.app/Contents/Resources/libcxsetup-py”.

The program will now exit.

CrossOver trial version fails to initialize

Is this the first time you opened the application after it has been installed? If so, try to uninstall the application and install it again. If the problem still persists, the installer must be corrupted. To resolve that, you have to download the installer of CrossOver v12 again and run it on your machine.

Try to check if the application is compatible to your machine – to its OS and architecture. If the same issue is present after doing the fore mentioned troubleshooting, you may like to upgrade the application from trial to a registered version. This should help.
