What stores carry this product?
Without it having a full box around it to protect the record, is it safe to use this product or will it bring more scratches to my records?
The record is made to resist any such atmospheric changes, however many people still recommend closed containers for this.
Since the pin or the head is constantly reading the record, so having an dust particle in between these two can cause a distortion that is very loud and irritating. With the container in place, the record is safe from such things.
There is also another useful or advantage thing for using it securely. You can actually increase the lifetime of the record since it will be less scratchy and the head will read it easily and it will also increase the time span of the head too as it will not have to do so much work to read the record.
