I started using Exchange Server 2010 recently, and that’s why I am in experienced with its features. Hell, I even don’t know to create new-Mailbox Exchange 2010. Can anyone help?

Four types of Mailboxes are there in Exchange Server; Room, Linked, Room and User Mailboxes. Here, steps for creating a new User Mailbox are described.

  1. Expand the Recipient Configuration node on Exchange Management Console and choose New Mailbox by right clicking on Mailbox.
  2. There are four options to choose from, and you can opt for User Mailbox for now. Click Next and choose New User. Click Next again. Fill the information of user i\on User information page and go for next.
  3. Type the pseudo name for your mailbox and specify the database. Neglect the policies for now. Browse and select mailbox database and click OK.
  4. Click Next, choose the Archive settings and review the configuration. Click New and finish the wizard.
