Could not open macro storage error

Hi,

I received the following error message while attempting to run templates acquired through an internet source running Office 2010 on my computer.

The error displayed saying "Could not open macro storage".

How can I resolve this problem?

I need an expert’s advice as soon as possible.

Could not open macro storage error

Hi David,
The error is because you are using the templates that are downloaded from an internet location.
There are built-in protection in advanced versions of Office. When the document is detected of having originated from an internet source,office opens the document in the ‘Read only’ mode to protect against potential threats. This mode is ‘Protected View’.
To remove the ‘Protected View’ mode from the report template, navigate for the saved template and open it.
Click on the ‘Enable Editing’ button on the upper right corner of the document.
Now, it can run effectively without reflecting the error on the system.
