Could not maximize Recycle Bin window

I was searching for a tool or program that can make my Windows XP Start menu to look like Windows Vista. When I found it, I tried it on my computer but I accidentally closed the window where I downloaded the tool. Due to some issues that I’m encountering, I decided to remove the tool.

After which my problem arises. When I was about to clear my recycle bin, I noticed that I can no longer opens the window of the recycle bin to its maximum size. It always opens as a small window in which I have to manually click the maximize button to enlarge the window.

What do I need to do to open it in a usual way? Is there a setting for this? Or this is another registry issue that needed my full attention. Please help.

Dear Watson,

It is easy to install a Windows Vista themes in Windows XP, But You have made mistake in the installation,So your program have made problem to open recycle bin maximum size. You can solve this problem by uninstalling this program. If you cannot able to do this you can try this way..

In desktop keep your pointer in recycle bin And click right button of mouse, you can see ''Empty recycle bin" Click this. If it doesn't work so try to setup your Windows Xp setup again. It is too easy to set up XP. Because your computer may infiltrated by malware / virus for installing unwanted Vista themes

Go to this link to know about XP setting,

Try to open your Recycle Bin again and maximize it first. Then after you finish what you plan on doing in that window, close the window while it is maximized. When you open it again, this should open as a maximized window. Windows usually remembers the state when the window was closed and will open the window in the same state. You can also just do system restore on your computer. This should revert any changes to the system files that may have been made and any changes to the settings. This should also help if anything was corrupted by that program.
