Could not create account in HP TouchPad

I got the error below in my HP TouchPad when I first open my device.

In order to make it work, user will need to create an account which will force them to make their Wi-Fi’s active. When trying to create an account, the webOS cannot create mine.

I already tried for few times now, and I’m trying to contact HP support but they don’t have replies yet.

How can I be able to fix this?

Could not create account in HP TouchPad

First, you have to identify if your HP TouchPad is not a demo version. If it is a demo device, you will not be able to create a webOS account for the pad unless your demo model will be unlocked by HP. Other reasons may be because the email address is already not available or has an invalid format/name/password. However, if this suggestion does not work, you may download the WebOS doctor and reload the software. You may download the WebOS doctor through this site https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Software/ct-p/Other2. This resets your device to its default setting and installs the latest version of HP WebOS. If still nothing happened, check out the Palm/WebOs forum at https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Software/ct-p/Other2 wherein experts may be able to answer your problem. Otherwise, ask for a replacement or have it repaired.
