I am using a Microsoft 2007 product, but I want to convert it to 2010.
Is it possible to convert Microsoft 2007 product to 2010?

There are several way to convert Microsoft 2007 product to 2010. If you buy a licensed version of Microsoft Office 2007, from an legal reseller (e.g. agent of Microsoft) between March 5th and September 30th 2010, you will be authorized for Microsoft’s  Technical assurance.
Buy Office 2007. Then Install and activate Office 2007.
Install and activate your qualifying Office 2007 product by September 30, 2010.
Your activated Office 2007 25-character Product Key is required to redeem your Technology Guarantee Office 2010 upgrade.
You will also need to provide your Product ID.

I am afraid converting Microsoft 2007 to Microsoft 2010 is not possible using any external programs or softwares.
Not for free to be precise. The only way to change the version, buy a licensed version of Microsoft Word 2010 software, uninstall the current software you use (Word 2007) and install Word 2010.
An alternative solution which might come useful is trying a Microsoft Office Compatibility pack for Word.
