I am using this new browser that I found. I think it has the name of “nightly”. Not sure if that was correct. I checked on the internet and I found out that it is also known as Firefox 8.

Now when I use the browser, I get this message "Helper application not found". I have never seen this message before with my other browsers. I’m just wondering what it is? Can anyone help me understand this error message?

The error that helper application not found may be the fault of your browser which you are currently using.  You should  try to install a fresh copy of this application or try a new and different browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Opera which you might like most.  It is up to you.

I would like to suggest you use Mozilla Firefox because of its smooth and amazing work.  Now, its latest version is also available which you can download easily from download.com.  The image of it is given below:

Maybe your system already has a problem even before you installed Mozilla Firefox 8 on your computer. You can not associate the problem with an incomplete installer download because you already successfully installed the browser on your system. That’s a different scenario. You will have a different kind of error in your screen if it is an incomplete download and you will actually not be able to install it on your computer.

If you downloaded Mozilla’s installer from its official website, you have to download it again. But first, you need to uninstall Mozilla Firefox from your machine. Then after that, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. If you did not find any problem in your hard drive’s file system, visit:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

And then download the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. Currently, version 12.0 is the latest release. Install Mozilla Firefox 12.0 after the download.

If you still get an error even after downloading and installing the latest version, try using a different web browser on your computer like for example, Opera, Safari, Google Chrome, Netscape, and others.
