Hello,

I have a laptop that has a 65-watt power adapter; can I power it using a 300 watt dc to ac inverter with 140 watt continuous operation? It has a low voltage and overload protection. Can I go ahead?

Thanks.

Hi, Jaycelin!

Please check how many Volts your Adapter is. If it says, 110V, use an AVR to plug it in to a 220V socket. But since 110V is the standard in US for sockets (assuming you are in the US) you can safely plug your 65watts into a 110V socket.

But for safety purposes, calling the manufacturer will do a lot of ease before you plug it in. Better be safe than risk it!
