Configure Chunghop RM-88E RC Remote

Hi there!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems programming your remote control.

Let's get that taken care of for you. 

Automatic setting: 

Press and hold the setting button and the TV button at the same time then let go of them both. If done correctly, the Red light indicator should remain lit. 

 

Keep on hitting the volume "up" button (as seen below) until your TV starts responding to the volume up command.

 

Hit the setting button again & test to see if the other functions like power are responding. 

If it did not work, please go back to the first point. 

 

Manual Set-up

Press and hold the setting button and the TV button and release after a second. (if done correctly, the red light indicator should remain lit).

Enter any of the 2 keys : 089 or 161

If entered correctly, the red light indicator should stop flashing. 

Please check and see if the other keys are responding properly (like power and volume). 

If it doesn't work, try the other code.
