Hi Hepsie,

MacBook Air with Core i5 and i7 has unimpressive battery life. The other brands have more RAM. Lack of familiar amenities like Ethernet, an SD card reader, and not user friendly to use compared to other brands.

With regards to performance experience on working Core i7 8 processor you will be using one of the fastest laptop processor on the planet, especially in the intensive computing needs compared to previous generations of processors. In terms of SPEC Core i5 and i7 is better.

This is the updated Core feature

1.  Incredible Memory Bandwidth.

2. Extreme Multitasking.

3. Create your Movie Masterpiece.

4. Create good quality 3d images.

5. Quick compress, store and share your Hi-Def home videos.

6. Active high resolution photos.

7. Create your own music.

8.  Preserve your own HD format in blu ray

Thanks,

The normal battery life of Apple MacBook Air 11 is around 5 hrs. Well, There is not much difference regarding the battery life of MacBook Air 11 cores i5 with core i7 processor. One can only use the MacBook Air core i5 for a few more minutes than i7. One will get approximately 5-10 minutes of more backup. The only difference one can get between the core i5 and i7 is while comparing through its speed.

The working experience on core i7 is a lot faster than working on core i5. One will feel core i5 is fast until they use core i7. Core i7 is around 30 times faster than core i5.

So if one will just use the Apple MacBook air 11 for daily use for web surfing or similar kind of stuffs i5 will be okay but if they have to launch many applications then Corei7 will be the best.
