If you get this type of error whenever you try on opening the software on your computer, this means that it cannot load the rest of the software’s files which simply signifies a problem in the installation of the product. Check again if your computer is compatible to run CoCASA. To run the software, your computer must be running on Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 or Windows XP. CoCASA 6.2 is only compatible with these 2 versions of Windows. If you are using a different version of Microsoft Windows like Windows Vista or Windows 7, you should install CoCASA 7.0. The version 7 of CoCASA is a lot better because it supports later versions of the operating system: Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

You may also need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 before installing CoCASA. It’s possible that you don’t have this yet installed on your machine that’s why the software is not working. You can download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 which already includes:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 2
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

You can download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 from All in One x86(incl 3.5SP1) 29/01/09.

For more information about CoCASA and installation instructions particularly when installing it to Windows Vista and Windows 7, read the instructions at CoCASA (Comprehensive Clinic Assessment Software Application). If you are still having a problem installing, download the installer again. Download only the version appropriate for your operating system. Downloading and installing incorrect version will result in installation problems and not working software.
