Chrome exe application error failed to initialize

I try to use Chrome, installation was smooth with no errors but whenever I try to launch the application there is always an error showing about the Chrome.exe.

Can anyone help me?

Chrome.exe – Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application.

Chrome exe application error failed to initialize

Hello Davis,

The error that you're getting occurs when there is a corrupted Windows Update in Windows. You will therefore need to debug the program using the following steps:

• On your computer click Start
• And then right click My Computer
• After that click Properties  and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
• You will then choose Turn off Automatic Updates
• After that restart your computer, and then connect to the internet
• And then click Start >> All Programs >> Windows Update
• Manually update windows after that and then turn On Automatic Updates again.
