How can I change the size of a VirtualBox disk image, after the installation of an OS? If Windows vista is installed in a VirtualBox running on Linux, is it possible to activate it? Is there any disadvantage in stopping a virtual machine in VirtualBox?

Hi,

VirtualBox is a kind of software that creates a virtual machine in any operating system and that virtual machine is a totally independent machine. VirtualBox software is dependable on OS platform but virtual machine is not like that. So you can easily use vista or other OS in VirtualBox with Linux.

There is no disadvantage in stopping a virtual machine in VirtualBox. At the time of your PC memory using most of it, then you can stop the virtual machine to speed up your PC. If you have large RAM memory installed in your PC then it is not a problem at all.
