I tried my best to locate option from where I can change my display name in msn messegner but all in vain. Requesting to all How to change msn messegner screen name?
There are following steps involve in order to change MSN messenger screen name.

1. Open your MSN messenger and login
2. Find and click on Username , there would be a small down arrow on the top
3. Now Select an option Edit your name from drop down list
4.Your profile web page will be opened automatically Where you will find First and Last name Boxes.
5. Change as you desire and save it.
