Change and Update Password in Luminis and Active Directory

Hello everyone,

I need your help in answering these questions of mine. How do I export usernames and passwords in clear text format from Luminis LDAP?

The employees at my company are currently using Active Directory for authentication purposes via Luminis. Is there any other ways for a user to change his/her password in Luminis and at the same time can update his/her password in Active Directory?

Please give me your answers.

Change and Update Password in Luminis and Active Directory

As Luminis is using algorithms with very strong encryption, exporting user names and password is not possible. The algorithms are made as such as to be able to provide the right information and web services in an environment tailored for higher education.

It is possible to have Active Directory updated with the new password after changing it in Luminis. Configuration files needs to be submitted to SGHE Support for engagement. SGHE support would then create modification on the configman files and jaas.conf settings. Modifications on the processes would be placed for it to work on a specific type of environment.
