Canon MP470 fails to print

Hi, I am consistently getting an error with my MP470 Canon printer.

During the time of printing, it would typically stop printing and would show error code 5200.

I replugged the wires of the system, but it has not solved anything.

I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to fix this.

I am stuck with this problem and I would appreciate any help from you.

Canon MP470 fails to print

Hello there,

Did you try removing and reinstalling all the drivers again? 

Well this could also be a reason of loose cartridge.

Did you try to take the cartridge out and fitting it in again?

Well just make sure that they snap in well.

I hope this time it will work, if still the problem persist, then its do the Hard Reset. Here is the link to do it– 

Just follow the steps of hard resetting and I'm sure this will work.

Canon MP470 fails to print

Turn off your printer

Press and hold reset (stop) button, and press and hold power button.

While holding the power button, release the reset button. Now, while still holding the power button, press reset button twice.

After that, release the power button and wait for printer.

When printer initiates and on its display is displayed 0, press the reset button 4 times, and then power button two times.

Wait for printer to finish. Turn your printer on – it should work now.
