Cannot send or save any email

Hello,

I am getting this weird error message whether I can’t send nor save my emails anymore whenever I attempt to do this action the following box appears. Can I get resolution to resolve this issue? I am using Mac Operating System and thunderbird. I am sure you will suggest me in a proper way. Thanks in advance.

Save Draft Error

Unable to save your message as draft. Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account setting are correct and again.

Resolution 1:

You will need to verify that your Mail as well as Newsgroups account settings are correct and then try again.

Resolution 2:

  • Close Thunderbird and then navigate to your Profile folder.
  • Delete both the file Sent.msf and the file Sent with no extension.
  • After that restart Thunderbird.
  • You will find a new, empty Sent folder in place.
  • Copy any messages you MUST have in your Sent folder from the sub-folder that was created above to the Sent.
  • Compact the Sent folder after those messages are copied in, and then perform the same procedure on the Drafts folder.
