Hello Alex,

You will need to first of all verify that you are indeed logged on with an administrator account. If you haven't then you will need to do the following:

  • Log off the account that you are currently logged on with.
  • After that restart the computer, and then log with the administrator's account.

If that does not help, then you might have forgotten the password that you registered with for that account. You may therefore need to reset the password so that you can get a new one.

Also try a simple reboot of the computer and see if that may resolve the issue.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl

If you are referring the “motherboard monitor” to an application and you are receiving an access denied error, make sure you are using an administrator account. This type of application requires full administrative privilege to run. If you verify that you are using an administrator account but you are still receiving this error, try running the program using the “Run as” option.

This option works only on Windows Vista and higher. For Microsoft Windows XP, this option or command is not needed. To run the program using this command, right-click the program that causes the access denied error and select “Run as administrator.” See if this works. If this works, try to make the program to always run as administrator. Right-click the program and select “Properties.”

Go to “Compatibility” tab and check “Run this program as an administrator” under “Privilege level” section. After this, click “OK” and this should fix the problem. Another way is to turn off or disable UAC or User Access Control.
