Hello,

I have changed my password recently and now I am having trouble accessing my pc. I must have mistyped the pass word and now cannot enter or log in. I need to reset my password for which I need to know any method that my be helpful. Kindly someone inform me how to rewrite my password in the current situation.

Cannot access-problem after reconfiguring settings

If you forgot your Windows password and you need to reset or recover it so you can log in again to your computer, try using the Cain and Abel software. This is a free  and yet very effective Windows Password Recovery Program. This will require the user to use the Administrator account. It is capable of recovering 10-character password to Windows XP in 10 seconds. It supports Windows XP, 2000, NT.

Another one is the PC Login Now. This tool doesn't really recover your Windows Password, instead it deletes the password and allow the user to access Windows without using any password, after which they can make a new one. This works on Windows 7, Vista and XP.
