Can you add Apple itunes to older Windows versions?

I was wondering if I could actually add Itunes to an older version of windows. For example can I download itunes onto a windows 98 version computer or a windows 2000?

Can you add Apple itunes to older Windows versions?

I’m not sure if downloading iTunes on a computer that is running on Windows 98 is possible. This is one of the early versions of Windows and not all new programs still supports earlier versions of Windows. But if you can find an application for downloading iTunes stuffs that is compatible or supports early Windows versions, then you can do your downloading there. Even if you plan to install VirtualBox on Windows 98 it would still not possible because VirtualBox only supports these operating systems:

• Windows XP
• Windows Vista
• Windows 7
• Solaris
• OpenSolaris
• Mac OS X
• Linux

I think there is no version of VirtualBox that is compatible with Windows 98 or Windows 2000. But you can still do your research.
