What is the extent of making telnet xml? Is it the best way to make applications through the internet? If not, are there any other suggestions?

Hi Athan,

Telnet is a terminal emulation program which uses a terminal protocol to communicate with a given server. It has been commonly used in the old days to connect to remote computers. It can also be used to deliver commands to a web server. Thus, telnet can be used to perform the four HTTP commands which are GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE. You can therefore Create new, Read existing, Update, and Delete data as you wish. In telnet, these commands are written directly and passed on to the server. When it retrieves the information, it does so immediately displaying the results. Thus, I can suggest that it is a good way to make applications over the internet.
