Can Not install Microsoft Office 2010 on MAC

 I am trying to install Microsoft Office on my Mac 2011 but I am getting an error message that says

Software Requirement

This software requires an Intel-based Macintosh computer.

What can I do to install it on my Mac?

Please assist.

Can Not install Microsoft Office 2010 on MAC

It seems that your Macintosh computer is using a different type of processor rather than an Intel type. This is what’s causing the error in your installation of Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac.

If you don’t understand what I am saying try checking again the documentation or any manuals of your Macintosh computer and read the information about its processor. It should tell you what kind of processor is installed on your Mac computer. If the manual indicates a different type of processor then you just need to replace it with an Intel type.

You can’t proceed with your installation with that kind of message. You may also try downloading Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 14.0.1 Update. This update will fix critical issues that arise when using the application.
