Can I use the DDR3 tri channel memory for Intel motherboards

Hello,

Can I use the DDR3 tri channel memory for Intel motherboards and AMD combined or on Intel motherboard only? I would really appreciate the answer.

Triple channel memory is very faster but you can not use AMD with DDR3 triple channel memory for Intel motherboards and AMD combined. AMD does not support triple channel RAM but you can still use triple channel RAM but in dual channel mode.

Hello

You cannot use triple channel DDR RAM on AMD machines but you can use it on Intel motherboards with Intel CPU. But you should read manual of your motherboard to ensure what your motherboard is capable of. Most 3-years old + motherboards support triple channel DDR RAM modules so if your motherboard is new then it won't be problem.
