Can I use anti ddos guardian to stop a website attack?

Hey guys,

The site I am running was recently DDOS'ed attacked by opening multiple connections and making the pool full so the site just shows a 'service unavailable' message. Would anti ddos guardian stop the attack? How do I protect my site and iss pool?

Any help would be great.
