Can I access Corporate email in MS Outlook not login VPN?

Hi! I want to know if I can access my corporate e-mail in Microsoft Outlook without being logged into the corporate VPN, the same way I can do it with Microsoft Entourage. To access the company’s Microsoft Exchange server through Entourage, I just have to point at the address I use for webmail. Can the same thing be done with Microsoft Outlook?

Hallo Heart,

For you to be able to access your corporate e-mail in Microsoft Outlook without being logged into the corporate VPN, you will need to have the correct URL and also the security information which meets the system requirements for you to be able to use that service, and for that you will to contact your exchange service administrator and let them check that for you.

To enable the service manually, you will need to click on the account settings that is found in the tools menu, and thereafter you will select  'exchange account' and then choose change. Thereafter you will click on more settings and then expand the connection tab. Choose the option for 'outlook anywhere' and then select 'connect to Microsoft exchange using http'. Save changes. That way, you will be able to access without having to be logged to the corporate VPN.
