CAn Excel employee leave calendar be color-coded?

I'm using an existing template from excel to create a leave calendar which has a column for each day and a row for each member.  Can excel employee leave calendar be color-coded so it will be visually easy?

Dear Josh Pikee,

You didn't mention which version of Excel you use. There are many versions. If you don't find any template, you’ll find in latest it version. I am giving the steps of the Office 2007 version how to use color in rows and columns.

1. Select a row and go to Home and then click Fill > Select color > Fill color.

2. Select a column and go to Home and then click Fill > Select color > fill color.

Hopefully, that will do and it will be helpful for you. It's so easy. I hope you can do that.
