The Photos App on my Windows PC is throwing a 2147219196 error. I do not have any troubleshooting ideas. Help me to fix the issue.
Windows users often experience different issues with the apps, 2147219196 error being one of them. Here are some fixes for you –
Method 1
a. Right-click on the start menu icon.
b. Open Windows PowerShell (Admin).
c. Type Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”} and hit enter.
d. Restart your device.
e. Open Microsoft Store.
f. Search for the Photos app, and update it.
g. Launch the App.
Method 2
a. Open Settings.
b. Open Apps.
c. Click on Advanced Options under the Microsoft Photos app.
d. Click on Repair.
e. Launch the app.
f. If the issue persists, click on Reset by following the same steps.
Other ways –
a. Uninstall the photos app and download the app again. Install it freshly.
b. You can use another photo viewer app. I would suggest you install Adobe Lightroom.
