I have this Blackberry Curve which is going off whenever I try to save a game I was playing, at first I thought it was charge issues but this has been persistent and its getting more frequent, what could be causing such shutdowns and how can I solve it?
First of all you should know that Memory leaks and an overloaded memory can result in slower performance as well as shutting down of the phone. It is recommended that you restart the phone at least once in a day. The BlackBerry model you are using is one of their basic models with approximately 256 MB of flash memory. Sudden phone shutting down, however, is not expected even at that level. It has been observed in certain cases that this phone even shuts down owing to battery draining issue. So, it potentially could be a problem with the battery. Changing the battery might solve your problem, if it does not then I would recommend you to get in touch with the manufacturer and request set change as then it means a potential hardware issue.
