Blackberry App in Sony Ericsson Phone

My Sony Ericsson G900 phone has a Blackberry Messenger application. How can I activate this? I already asked the local distributor of Blackberry and Sony Ericsson but they don’t have any idea either.

Blackberry App in Sony Ericsson Phone

You have to get this service activated by your network operator if I have not mistaken.

Please take your phone to the nearest customer service location in your country and check with them. They will make necessary configurations.

Most operators have the option to send the required settings and configuration through SMS, But no Idea whether you phone is comfortable with that.

Better to walk into any of their service points to get this done.

Hi,

First of all its even surprising enough that you were able to install a blackberry application on your sony ericsson. But I should not try and take that from you, kudos if it’s legitimate software. However, all blackberrys around the world use the blackberry service which is offered by blackberry in conjunction with network operators. To get it to work you will need to contact your network operator.

That’s a pretty odd device to find the BlackBerry Messenger because the Sony Ericsson phone runs on Symbian OS and not BlackBerry OS. Try asking your network provider if they can activate the app for you. But if they don’t know it either, try this. First, locate your PIN. Start the BlackBerry Messenger app then go to “Options,” “Status,” and then “PIN.”

Set the PIN. After that, create your display name to identify yourself while messaging and then create a password. After creating your username and password, you’ll be automatically logged in to the BlackBerry Messenger whenever your phone is connected to your wireless network. Once you’ve created your contact list, you can send and receive messages.
