Movable Type- It supports LDAP for user and group management and automatic blog provisioning. It wires storage of the weblog's content and related data within PostgreSQL, SQLite and MySQL.

Joomla! – With a Model–view–controller (MVC) Web application framework, it is an open source content management system (CMS) platform for distributing content on the internet.

WordPress- is extensively believed as the mainly popular blog publishing application and 2% of the 10,000 biggest websites are using WordPress. WordPress was authorized by MySQL and PHP that has many features like plug-in architecture and templating system.

Drupal- a content management system (CMS) written in PHP, free of charge and open source. For at least 1% of all websites worldwide, Drupal utilized as a back-end system which collected from small time personal blogs to great corporate and political sites that includes whitehouse.gov
