Battery Discharging Abruptly

I recently installed Android Oreo and my phone’s battery has become really unstable. It drops in no time and I’ve to charge again and again. My phone is just 3 months old and in a very good condition otherwise. Should I get the battery changed? Or should I charge my charger?

Battery Discharging Abruptly

Check your adaptive brightness feature and turn it on. You will find this feature in your display settings. Your phone will adjust the brightness according to your surroundings, and light and will thus save battery.

Close all power consuming apps that you might not be using at the moment.

Google services and third-party apps sometimes get stuck and exhaust the battery. Reboot your phone to close them. If that doesn’t work, go to settings to check your battery info. Uninstall the “offender”. The offender is an app that uses too much battery. Make sure you close your apps after using them as some apps run in the background and drain battery without your knowledge.
