Avira installation failed to complete

Hi,

Having an antivirus is important and that is why I tried to install Avira but am getting an error message once I run the setup as shown below. Any ideas?

Another instance of this setup is already running. Please wait for the other instance to finish and then try again(.) [Errorcode 14]

Hi Dexter

Your problem is cause  by another program and its keeps blocking you to install Avira. To locate this problem click on the Start button then click run then Type msconfig then click services click on manufacturer then disable all the softwares that aren't from Microsoft. Then restart.Then you should be able to install Avira Antivirus. After installation, enable again those services you've disabled.
